What a beautiful cover. This is -in my opinion- the best cover in the series. There's so many details. When you look closely, you can see a raven in the pupil. The blue made it really powerful, and the font fits the Dytsopian theme.

Juliette Ferrars 

Man, wow, that growth. In the first 2 books she was a pathetic, weak, shy girl needing love. But damn, after this book I was convinced she's not anymore. She was finally ready to make her own decisions, and to fight. She wanted revenge, and oh she got it. She starting using her powers, and learned how to control it. She's not afraid of anything anymore. It was really weird to read, like she was an entirely different person. I LOVED IT. I have a thing for badass female characters, and the weak ones who cry all day don't really catch my attention.

Warner a.k.a fuck yEs?

Oh my, HOW DO I LOVE WARNER. I know I've said before that I was team Adam, but like, Warner? WARNER. That stupid wrench I despised, was actually my favorite person  ever. Because you see everything in Juliette's perspective, she made everyone think he was an asshole, but when she got to know him and because he saved her, she slowly realised he was different, and wasn't behind all the things she thought he did. You won't believe me when I tell you this, but one day, you'll be completely and utterly IN LOVE WITH WARNER, and Team Adam? Not anymore.

Kenji's humor

Kenji's humor was probably the second best thing about this book (with Warner+Juliette being first), his relationship with Juliette really warms my heart. While it's not at all romantic, there's something about it that makes them so close, maybe even closer than she is to Warner. Kenji and his stupid jokes make it even better. I never knew a Dystopian could actually make me laugh.

Adam Kent is a stupid asshole

Adam needs to get a hold of himself. Even after Juliette broke up with him, he still tried to get her back, and in a not-so-right way too. He said things to her he should never have said. And while Kenji was there to back her up, he still needed to get some sense in his head. 

He'll do everything for James, his little brother, even losing his pride. That is literally the only thing I still liked about him.

Intimate scenes 

Wow, so passionate, they actually made me blush. The way Warner kissed and made sexual jokes and such kind of made me really uncomfortable,  especially after that one part (people who have read the book will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about)., but I also liked it (if I can confess that whoOps). It was like a pure heavy romance. And while it was cheesy, it was also really wonderful to read. These romances rarely happen in real life, that's why this book made me so happy. If you're not a big fan of all this cheesiness though, I don't think this is something for you.

Storyline

Hate to break it to you, this book series doesn't have many action until the end of the books. The first 300 pages were them preparing for the fight, and a lot of romance. It was not at all boring though. I read this book in two days. Probably the fastest I've ever read a book. Some people will hate this book for it's romance, but I really loved it. There hasn't been many action in this book series, apart from the climax. This climax was the best. The way she managed to stay strong through all those things. The ending was really powerful I almost cried cause this is the last book.

In my opinion, this is the best book in the series, the first book being the runner-up. It was so nice to read (come on, 400 pages in two days?). I recommend this book series so much. While they're not that underrated, many people don't know about it. I'm so glad I picked this book series up cause they gave me so much joy. I'm really sad there isn't another book, but I'll definitely read some more books of Tahereh Mafi. 5/5 stars *fangirls*

I have said this so many times. But these covers are SO gorgeous and totally give off this fantasy mystery and sadness feel. I think that's why my eyes caught these books when I first started reading them. I would literally buy these just for the covers.

Adam
As you may know, I really liked Adam in the first two books (you can search up my reviews (unfortunately, there is no review for the 2nd/3rd book in the series), but now he's just starting to annoy me. After the break up with Juliette and all. In the first book, you saw him from Juliette's perspective, but now you can actually see how selfish he is. He wants to keep Juliette safe to the point she can't even stand up for herself. My friend expected it already, but after reading this I am totally Team Warner.

Kenji

Oh my god, this character was so pervy but really funny! He made everything lighter and without him I would have laid it down to read it later. He makes sexual jokes and respects both Juliette and Adam. Omega Point is truly like a school, once someone did something it goes around EVERYONE and literally EVERYONE has an opinion on it. Kenji couldn't care less about those rumours, and he just made everything less dramatic.

Storyline

I didn't feel like there was any storyline in this. It kind of just jumped around and didn't have any great surprises. Now, I get it's a novella and isn't a must-read for the series, but I truly got the feeling the only reason I was reading this was because of the details. I kind of missed Juliette throughout the entire book, but I'm looking forward to the last book in the series!

Honestly, I think reading this without liking Adam won't be of much use, but since it's only 78 pages so I'd still suggest it just for the details :). 3/5 stars for me, I'm really anticipating the last book :).

I know this review isn't so long, since this was just a novella and only had 78 pages. Next week, expect a review of a new Iron Fey book :)

Plans Warner simply cannot allow.

Wow, I'm so astonished by these covers. I'm not allowed to buy books and I don't want to (I borrowed this at my local library, don't worry I don't do anything illegal :D), but if I could, this would be mine. I simply can't get over how beautiful these trilogy's covers are. It doesn't give away much about the book though, other than the fact Warner is hurt by what Juliette has done to him.

It's a short book cause it's a novella, completely in Warner's perspective. In the book you'll find out who Warner really is. I read the first book a little while ago and posted a review, and a friend of mine told me I was gonna go from Team Adam to Team Warner gradually with the books, okay then, am I Team Warner? Nope, I still don't like him but I've grown some respect for him. Warner isn't so bad and maybe he and Juliette fit better together than I thought.

I can't say much without spoiling the book, only that it was a fun read and I'm totally in love with these series. I enjoyed it less than I did the first one, but maybe that's just because Warner isn't someone for me and Juliette was. I read it out very fast, it has a different writing style than other books I've read, totally 'Tahereh Mafi', that makes it so unique.

Okay, last thing. I highly suggest you start these series. Shatter me (the first book in the Shatter Me series) might look very big and a lot like other books, but it's original and I read it out very fast.

I'll end this review by giving this 4.5/5 stars. As much as I don't like Warner, this is a must-read for book 2 and I liked it a lot!

Shatter Me- Tahereh Mafi

Juliette hasn't touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal. As long as she doesn't hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don't fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war-- and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she's exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

The cover is really beautiful. You'd think, why an eye? I mean, that has nothing to do with the fact her touch is fatal. But, as mentioned in the book, Juliette doesn't know her eye colour. She hasn't looked in the mirror for years, and she is afraid to do so. Also, she recognized Adam by his eyes. 

Yep guys, love triangle. Aaron Warner, the leader of the Reestablishment, and Adam Kent, the only person who has ever been nice to Juliette. I'd say, by reading the first book, that I'm totally Adam. I did pity Warner, because his parents have never truly loved him. They threw him out like garbage, which I also thought he was.

The good thing about this book was (it has a lot of good things), is that they keep the excitement and action in it. It never gets boring. It has some cheesy love scenes in it, but come on, don't we all love that? 

I didn't find out the secrets until the very end. When I was done reading (I read it in 3 days, on vacation), I didn't know if I would throw the book at the wall or hug it, which is a good thing, I think.

I'll give this book 4,5/5 stars, minus all the really cheesy scenes, it'd have been 5 stars.

Extra: There will probably be a film made out of the books, or a tv-show.
